Our focus on sustainability led to the inspiration behind every detail of the Neyeture project.

Frames

Thin and light with the front made of rilsan, a bio based polyamide derived from castor oil for over 45%. The temples are made of beta-titanium, an extremely light, flexible, durable, corrosion-resistant material and, being nickel-free, it is hypoallergenic and well tolerated even by those with sensitive skin or those subject to allergic reactions. The adjustable temple tips are made of bio acetate, made from renewable sources, such as vegetable cellulose.

Frames with magnetic Clip-on

The fronts and temples are made of Rilsan, a bio-based polyamide deriving from castor oil (more than 45%). Only less than 0.5% of plastic in the world is bio-based. We chose it to promote the sustainable use of this material.

Frames with Double Magnetic Clip-on

Front crafted in Rilsan®, a cutting-edge bio-based polyamide derived from over 45% castor oil. Temples engineered in Beta-Titanium to ensure extreme lightness and flexibility. Inherently nickel-free, making the frame fully hypoallergenic. Adjustable Bio-Acetate Temple Tips, derived from renewable sources such as plant-based cellulose. The frame is supplied with a double magnetic clip-on featuring polarized triacetate (TAC) lenses. These lenses are designed to provide: UVA and UVB protection, enhanced visual contrast and significant reduction in eye strain, even in high-glare conditions.

Chains

Handcrafted chains with wooden elements in colours inspired by nature. tested according to the Reach Regulation: materials are analysed to verify that they do not contain chemical elements considered harmful to the environment and people.

Microfibre

70% of the fabric is made from recycled PET bottles. With this environmentally-friendly decision we have reduced our CO2 emissions during the production process, as well as the use of oil-based resources by giving plastics a new lease of life.

After sponsoring the Educational workshop focusing on the design of 100% sustainable spectacles and related accessories with the students of the Masters in “Design of accessories” from Milan’s Polytechnic School of Design in 2020, Neyeture’s commitment to promote the culture of sustainability continues.

Throughout 2021 and 2022, Centro Style supported Blue Eco Line's River Cleaner project with the sale of Neyeture glasses. The project was then supported in 2023 by the Capsule Collection Ocean Day. In June 2024, the collaboration was reactivated on the entire collection of magnetic frames with clip-ons in order to contribute to the creation in Grosseto (Italy) of the first fully automated plant powered by energy produced from renewable sources, to collect plastic from rivers.

With the completion of the Grosseto plant in June 2025, our partnership will be renewed for all Neyeture frames sold across Italy and internationally.

To mark the first 2026 launch of our double magnetic clip-on eyewear collection, we have renewed our partnership in support of Blue Eco Line’s ongoing projects. Operating across various areas of Northern Italy, these initiatives focus on monitoring and recovering plastic waste in rivers—preventing it from reaching our oceans, breaking down into microplastics, and ultimately helping to protect our environment.
